Draw Close To God
The key to experiencing God is to draw near to Him. If we are aloof and standoffish then He will be too.
Draw close to God, and God will draw close to you. (James 4:8)
If we believe on Jesus then we should not be shy about approaching God. We can confidently approach Him, knowing that He desires to be close to us. When we are close to Him we will experience His mercy and grace. We will find that there is nothing else we need.
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. (Heb. 4:16, ESV)
When we call upon the Lord, seeking to be close to Him, we know that He will not reject us. He will come close to us if we seek Him sincerely.
The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, To all who call upon Him in truth. (Ps. 145:18)

Dear Church At Brierfield
I know that the Lord of my life knows all things. He knew when Bobby and I came to your little church last week to visit family that the first of the week our church that we love so very much would have a fierce attack by Satan. I have so enjoyed the bible studies this week and they have touch my heart as I pray for my church. I ask that when you pray you will remember FBC Sylacauga as we fight these battles. Thank you so very much for this. We send our love and prayers to you all.
